Yah I wanted to do something darker so it holds up over time more especially in the blade. He's my neighbor so we will see how it heals and adjust accordingly!

Havent posted anything here in a long time,..so here it go's.
I do get another pass through this one in about a week from now. I was wanting to smooth out the letter a bit and sculpt up the line thickness in a few place's also.
P.S. The side sucks !!

The client sent me a photo of his grandfathers knife on a coffee table, the picture was slightly skewed and at an angle, it gave me an idea to do the tattoo in the same angle and 3d-depth. I ended up just tracing the knife once printing out the picture and then cleaning up the design from then on, i really didnt even notice the blade/retainer size issue. Good eye!

If that's the case, a backgroud can really bring out the dimensions.
