I think the numbers are a tad big for that banner but they look nice. As far as the shading goes, no complaints at all. Looks nice and smooth! Keep it up.
Also, you should post a link to your portfolio.

about three months ago my teacher fumi gave me his hori and my stamp when he stopped tattooing. i am now ordered to carry his name and finish his work which is a huge deal. its scary to me because i have never been without him there to guide me. as far as you getting your title the way he explained it to me is that it is passed to you from your teacher. so the only way i know to get it is to come here to japan and work under someone if you can find one willing to teach gaijin.

if dave was a hori then maybe not sure how it really works. like if i have a student can i pass him mine. ill ask teach next time i go down to tokyo. i got mine because my teacher is japanese. he learned the old way.

no i am gaijin. american. i just got really lucky and found someone who was willing to teach me the old ways of japanese style. he is in love with all things american so he took me in.

you guys are right! thats a big time f@#k up.think i'm gonna hang it up and go to one of these retarded tattoo schools here in oregon.maybe the guy at www.blackmagictats.comcan help me step up my game for a cool 15,000 dollars. but seriously i do appreciate the bottom line from you guys.
