Default a question about inks

I've always used Talens drawing ink for outlining. And one day when I was getting tattooed my artist was using pelican to shade, he said it made for smoother shading than some other inks. My question is what do you guys use or recommend using for outlining and shading?

triple black from kingpin and national tattoo supply, we prefer to use inks that are intended for tattooing.

Brandon - I don't see Trible Black on Kingpin's site.

So what makes Intenze differant than Starbrite versus Mom's?

i just ordered a nice twist spout triple black from national. cant wait to see how good this ink works. I still use intenze true black half and half mix with sumi. i like the ink its great for outlining but builds up a crust after a period of time and needs a wash out. the worst black i have ever used was from skin candy called "black out" i believe. i tried running the machine slower and faster as well. just not sure what went wrong with it. but my intenze and sumi mix has worked fine and lasts black. lets see how the national triple black works..
