Default lining advice

Hi have not been here for a long time. Im recently experimenting with diferent liner groupings, since I have tried out loose groupings and found out that line is uch darker and crisp. On the other hand some small pieces does not allow me to use all the time loose groupings, so I have to take out tight liners. Especially the 5 tight makes me troubles latelly, sometimes it requires too much force to line with it. The 0.30 (long taper) thick 5 liner looks that there is no space between needles at all. I tried also thicker needles ).35 (long taper) which lines a lot better but again sometimes they are too thick, and Im more into single pass linning, so do not build lines therefore try to choose the right groupings according to the design. Im just interesting, what needles are you using for linning (I mean thicknes and taper), and with what results. Thanks for any hint or advice.

not to sound like a d**k, but these really are questions you should be asking your mentor, not on a public forum

i like #12 long taper for every thing i do. some needle manufactures make tights in my opinion too tight. needle jig makes them perfect.

I know, but since my mentors do not really give s..t (due to their limited knowledge) about this issue and can not give me satisfying hint, I just tried to ask here. But got your point! anyway thanks for response
