I hope it is better than Land of the dead which he put out in 2005. That was really weak after I was looking forward to it. I am a big Romero fan, but Land of the dead was horrible IMHO. Here is to hoping Diary of the dead is better.

I agree that Land of the Dead was really weak compared to his older movies...I am hoping that it was the warm up and that Diary will really deliver the goods.

I met Romero this weekend at the Lone Wolf Full Moon Tattoo/Horror Convention. He's a really nice guy.

My sis (out in Vegas) said she saw it a couple weeks ago and was kinda let down...her biggest complaint was "not enough zombies!"
I'm still looking forward to it...I love almost all his movies...Bruiser sucked pretty bad though ('cept for The Misfits being in it)

I got to meet Mr. Romero in Nashville as well over Easter weekend...and as Scott stated, he's a helluva nice guy...I was quite surprised at just how cool he was/is...Hell, he even had me call my sister at home so he could say hi and growl like a zombie at her, haha...I think she literally s&!t herself!
