Default HELP! NEED DOG TRAINER!

Although my dog is not a pit bull, Im not sure where else to look. I have a 7 year old dachshund named fritze. He is EXTREMELY aggressive towards people and dogs, and just about anything else. He has bitten several people, several times, including me. I have never had any problems training a dog, except for him. Today alone he tried to bite 6 people. I can't even allow my goddaughter at my house because I do not trust him enough. He guards everything, including people. I need help, but Im not having much luck. This is a small town and not many trainers want to help with a red zone dog. If anyone had any idea who I can call, please tell me. I live in Dobson, NC. I could never get rid of him, but now my mom is thinking twice. He bit her recently and she had to get stitches, again.

hmm, has he always been agressive, or is this a new thing recently?

he might be sick, or have arthritis, or any number of problems, take him to the vet...

If hes bitten more than one person, he should have probably been taken to a vet a long time ago...here in my state, after 3 bites, you are court ordered to euthanize the animal, your also legally obligated to pay any medical bills incurred due to the animal...something to think about.

He's always been a brat, but he got very aggressive after his last surgery. I found a local trainer, but he's 7 years old, so the likelihood of him never biting again is low. He's been to the vet multiple times, they now just muzzle him when he comes in. He's been on prozac and other homeopathic meds to calm him, but he just gets paranoid and my other dog is highly allergic to the homeopathic meds. And I live in NC, so they dont care really.

Call the Dog Whisper, He would probly say " You need to a become pack leader" you need to be calm and assertive with him, do not allow him to lead in door ways on a leashes yada yada it's sounds like he's the master and your the pet. He's on Nat geo all the time and his methods work, I am a Responsible Pitbull Owner, I have had 3 Pitts, 1 victorianbull bog/boxer,1 Argentino Dogo, 3 Shepards, 1 Hound In order and my last 2 dogs I just watched him and It's the Easyest way, My last Pitt "Raider" was on the verge of Red zone BS I Got him at 7yrs old and he was a fighting dog, We did not want to add him to the growing stats and looked for alt methods of trainning him and by far Ceasar Millians was simple and easy and raider lived a happy life till he was 12, you just have to keep at it and make sure people in your life contribute to his training he will be fine just go find some guildance and check him out for sure
