Default Military working dogs.

As AON and most folks who are forum members are dog folks like myself, I decided to create a thread dedicated to working dogs.

Photos are from the US military, US LE and foreign military/LE units.

Anyone have a question about a specific photo, I will do my best to identify the breed/unit.

There was a heart wrenching documentary on the work dogs during the Vietnam conflict on the history channel a few years back. The handlers were ordered to abandon them when the US pulled out. It was one of the saddest stories I have ever seen.

This has the potential to be one of the best threads ever. A proud salute to our 4-legged friends!
