I feel the same way man. It's easier to get what he's doin when you study other artists (non-tattooers) like Mucha.

gogue is stupid good. id compare him to lieu. they both say alot without doing alot. like that owl is alot of skin, and a lot of texture, but only like 30% hard tattoo. much of the image is implied.

This is my first posting! I know that it needs something behind the guitar headstock to make it pop. We are probably doing a solid black background later when I finish the opposite side of the arm which will remedy that. Also the green bar looks a little crooked because his arm was bent when I took the pic and didn't notice until later that it happened. I will get a better pic down the road as we progress.
