Harsh Critiques...
No one is gonna get any better with pats on the back and biting tongues. Leave your sensitive egos outside! This thread can be a "post your work" with actual art critiques. no technical tattooing info please! post tattoos, drawings, paintings, etc.
I will start: 24 x 36; acrylic hobby paints.
bottom apple is a little mishapen. snake is a little flat.
blends are weak. i learned a lot, and will try harder next time.
took 7 hours, should have took 17.
get the idea?

awesome design. id like to see a little more detail in the butterfly though, as its perspective is so much more forward than the rest of the stuff. like there is more detail in the leaves than the butterfly which is in front of all that. or maybe just a thicker line weight on the bfly would change that perspective. I love the colors though. real soft and painterly with attention to line in all the right places.

Tom that is awesome! i`d probley add some darker tones in the brain tho, it looks kinda out of place being so bright when every thing else has dark hues.
Eitherway i can`t wait to see the finished product.

The snake seems to have the least amount of life in the picture. Everything else pops.

i agree! i really put a good deal of effort into the blends in the apples and didnt follow that through onto the snake. that snake was kinda daunting for me. cant wait for the next one!

i think there should be more color outlines. i like the way you did the brain. for example i think the heart in the hand should also be outlined in color. a thing that works good for me is to outline everything in color then when everything is colored in, go back in and add black outlines where they are needed, if they are needed.
