Default o rings

I use o rings on all my machines I think they make them run smoother but I have heard they cause the machine to overheat has anyone else had this problem.

an o ring does make your machine work harder, and usually when you add an oring, you have to turn it up...makes sense.

there's a whole lot of factors involved that can't be diagnosed from the forum. Spring size and thickness, angle of front spring, coil wire size, coil core size, coil insulation, # of wraps, voltage, frame materials, etc. Machines are a lot like tattoos, if you start out with a s&!tty base and use s&!tty materials you're gonna have a s&!tty machine no matter what, that's why certain companies/peoples machines are more expensive than $10 chinese machines.

yeah, what Inkmurky said, bring your machine up to Natchitoches, I'll rebuild it for 80 bones, provided you keep it away from Tom's "hotness" it will never overheat again
