Re: Post your work!!!!
is there skin still on the jaw? and is the El Roca supposed to be engraved or printed on the bandana. either way the drop shadow is way off on that. pick one light source and stick to it. Imo these kinds of tattoos need a blazing strong light source to create dramatic shadows that will help the tattoo look good forever. If your referance doesnt have them , make them. Look at Carlos Torres's work, hes awesom for this.

Re: Post your work!!!!
Thx for the feedback! First pass on it and will go back and tighten it up in a month, areas ya think are skin require hard black. Didnt want to overwork him, his first tat ( el roco with shadow, his demand) and hes off on a cruise in a couple of weeks. Good points on lite source tho.

Yup. The one thing I can't stand the most is just a bunch of random shading. Studying light source is something nobody seems to do, but it's the one thing that will absolutely kill or make a tattoo.
