Default Mixing of different brands of inks

Hi guys i just recieved the dvd and it is awesome but i missed one thing there and that it what somebody at the shop told me here in Jax Fl.
He said that you cannot mix different kinds of inks because some are made from polimers(plastic) and that you wont be able to mix them with the normal inks.
Is that true or is that guy full of s&!t.
That same guy told me that the DVD i just bought is just friends of Brandon saying how great he is.
Well i must say that this is the DVD i have been waiting for and tells me all i want to know and have been asking for , for a long time and helps me to get further in reaching my goal.
Thanks Brandon this is the best money ever spend and i would proudly spend it again if needs be.

I've heard people talk about not mixing powder based pigments with predispersed, but I have a coworker that does it all the time, from what I can tell there's no problem.

some brands do not mix well, but if you're using quality inks they're all typically made from the same ingredients so they should mix fine

ive mixed them, and had this same question for years. fucckin tattoo myths... although ONCE and only once i mixed a certain white, with a different purple, and the ink looked like one of those weird science projects where vinegar and baking powder explode. strangest thing...threw em both out.
