Default Re: Who specifically at AoN would be a good "fit" for tattooing this kind of image/st

Well I had gotten tattooed on my leg/kneecap/lower thigh but 80% of the color completely fell out, and it kinda looked like it wasn't going into the skin very well anyway when this "artist" was tattooing it. He would tattoo it in the skin and it seemed to go in solid immediately after injecting it, but 5 minutes later it seemed to not be solid at all. He would even overwork it trying to get the color to stick, but it kept "fading" after tattooing it... then once the scabs/flakes were gone.. whatever "pigment" that was left in the epidermis fell out completely with the flakes of dead skin. Very little (if any) pigment remained in the dermal layer and today it is completely gone. Thankfully the scar tissue has settled so it could probably take another session of tattooing.

It didn't hurt either when he was tattooing it like it should, so my best guess is that this was caused by a lack of experience on the part of the "artist" and that he probably did not go deep enough (the skin didn't bleed or ooze that much plasma as it should). The skin around my knee area is more tough and lathery but my previous artist from awhile back (before I let this hack even touch me) used a machine with a much higher voltage and it stayed fine.. so I'm sure the lack of technical skill was probably the main factor for this.

I have no doubt AoN would be able to put it in pretty solid, despite my skin around the knee being rather tough and leathery.

I have learned some rather painful lessons from this, both from scar tissue and money out of my pocket, but I've since moved on and can't wait to get worked on by someone that knows what they are doing.
