I want the .45 cause I dont want to have to mess around with multiple shots if you know what I mean. Also for home defense penetration can be an issue as stated before. Whatever you do I would recommend trying to shoot one first because each person will fit each gun differently.
Sig make excellent guns. My new carry is a 2022 in 9mm. .45 is a fun caliber, just getting pricey for paper shooting! Shot placement is important, too. Like the crazy marine that does the tv show says "Let me shot you twice in the chest and once in the head with a .45 and afterwards a 9mm. Then you tell me the difference."
