i'll buy just about any sample kit just to try it, if i like it, i may a few colors to the arsinal, but so far, i like mixing my own stuff and using a few really good colors from other companies. i go for the creamy pigments vs. the thinner colors.

i finally got to use some fusion ink today on a small hummingbird. and i love it so far. it has a good medium consistency, it goes in easy, it wipes away easy, and it looked great in the skin. im going to call monday and order a set.

How does Fusion ink hold up in ink caps? One of the reasons I stopped using Eternal was because they got crusty so quickly - I became a fan of Starbrite and Unique/Permapro because of that (it isn't easy getting certain brands of ink up here, and I'd sooner go with something distributed locally than get raped on brokerage fees and international shipping). I'll have to find out if if they have Canadian distributors...

i only did one small tattoo with it which took me two hours, and it didnt dry on top. i will have to do some larger tattoos with it to know for sure though.

hahaha you know, i've only lived up here for about a year and a half (yup, i'm a yank) and although it's not technically 'legal', most seem to turn a blind eye. there's some damn good beer up here, too! hey, weren't we talking about ink or something like that? lol

p.s. tried alla prima too. got a few bottles at a convention. can't say i'm a fan. they are a lot thicker than i like to use. had to make a few machine adjustments so it didn't bog down, and dipped in water a lot. then, there was the issue i had with their periwinkle set. i tried putting the bottles in a clean ultrasonic at home, and didn't like how the periwinkle didn't really homogenize into a true 'color' - it separated visibly into the blue half and the purple half even after the ultrasonic mixing. did a small tattoo on a friend using it, and it healed waaaaaay different than it went in. totally turned purple. i guess they still need to iron a few kinks out of the line? maybe i got a bum batch?

let me get this straight, you can mix your ink in an ultrsonic? instead of shaking the f@#king s&!t out of it?

These inks are amazing. Some of the colors are so bright they look fake. Really, really like these so far!

Some dry out a little, of course. It's to be expected. Not TOO quick though.

I'd buy a bottle of Silverback's Clear... and put a couple drops on top if it's a big deal for you. It keeps them from drying out.

Hows the light purple or lime green? These seem like the only two colors from Eternal I hate....
