I need help/advice!

Ok, so a few days ago, i added a new red nose little girl to my family.... probably the sweetest dog in the world....
Problem is, she belonged to some meth heads before I got her. They never let her go out side, hell, they never even let them out of their bedroom... she only knew to potty in the walk in shower.... pretty gross...
Well, ever since she got out of there, everything has been great! she gets along with Allie, my 4 year old pit, has been getting the hang of going out side to use the potty...
Here is my dilemma...
Kota (the new pup) is 7 months old, and the previous owners said she was up to date on all of her shots, but cant provide me with any records. So i am pondering rather or not to take the word of a tweaker, who supposedly gave her the shots them selves, or take her to a vet and drop the money (money I dont have being a college student!) to have her get shots with documentation?

I think you should try to find out the vet that they took her too. Otherwise, I think you should talk with your Vet and get her opinion.

There are many that will work with you, or have low cost shots, etc.

Called around.. looks like its gonna run me about $130 to get her shots done/redone and checked for heart worms.
Gonna take her tomorrow.

Sounds great! Thanx for getting this dog into a much better environment. Our dogs have better lives than some people & it always makes me smile to read about poeple helping dogs.

I think that's the best thing man. Better Safe then sorry! You are awesome though for doing that for the pup!!
