This beautiful boy is the victim of a Landlord issue and is GETTING BOOTED TONIGHT... we need to find a home or foster home preferably in Long Island IMMEDIATELY!!! otherwise he will have to go back to the kill shelter he was saved from!
THUNDER is a gorgeous pit mix, possibly with some boxer. He's a little over a year old, weighing in at about sixty pounds. He is all love and play - he's very into his toys and wants to know what's going on with whatever you're doing around the house. I've had him out a lot in the neighborhood and the park, and he's very friendly both towards people and other dogs. He hasn't shown any signs of aggression whatsoever, even when other dogs have been barking or growling at him. He's definitely got some puppy left in him, but he is already housebroken. The neighbors have said they haven't heard a peep out of him during the day - he doesn't seem to make noise while I'm gone, and isn't concerned with barking at the traffic in my hallway. He has been responding really well to training - we learned how to sit in a day or two and we're working on our leash manners, which are coming along He's even learning how to chill out with my cat... still working on that one, but he just wants to play and needs to learn to take no for an answer!
