Pitbull loving friend in need

hey all,

I'm a member of several of hte online sites for here. I don't have a pit, but I have a terrier (jack russell). However my neighbors, a sweet couple - have two pits. One is a sweetheart female named Queen (and she is!) gorgeous and a male who's a bit bigger and a bit more rambunctious. However neither are particularly aggressive, no more so than my shih tzu or my JRT. Actually, my JRT is WAY more mouthy, growly, and aggressive than either of her two PBT's.

The issue is this, her lease is soon up. She and her husband found a house and had everything set up to rent and move into their new home. The new landlords came over to meet the dogs (she also has a pomeranian/chihuahua mix) and it was only after that meeting that they informed her that their homeowners insurance said no to "dangerous breeds".

She's in danger of losing her dogs. In our county, they are legal but in surrounding counties (Maryland area), owning the dogs are illegal. SHe works in annapolis, and would really REALLY like to keep her dogs.

Are there any member here who might know of some PBT friendly rentals?

"dangerous breeds" that's funny....I'm considered a dangerous breed...so are both of my sons!! I can't help on the rental property but I needed to comment on that! Good Luck with it all!

It's frustrating, and I dont' know how she deals with it. Her dogs are so sweet!
