Default Bumps under ink?

I got a 2 1/2 week old tattoo and just yesterday I started getting small bumps under mostly the black ink. Is this normal? I have not used any neosporin on it. It is pretty much healed now. Wondering if this is normal.

what are you using to heal it? i have seen alot of cases where a customer was useing a&d ointment and putting way too much on and not washing between applications. that can cause a rash and clogged pores and follicles

keep washing it anti bacterial soap. was the area shaved prior to tattooing it? could be ingrown hairs could be reaction to soap could be a weather change. basically think what you have been around and or touched could be caused by lots of things

yes it itches sometimes but the bumps are basically where the outline was in the black ink. They are about the size of a pin head (very small). lots of them it is a 3/4 sleeve. I was using A&D but only the first 3 days because it started peeling and from then I was using lotion on it 3 times a day. Thanks for your replies

Do you work in construction? I have had friends go to work with new ink and get all kinds of not supposed to get on new tattoo stuff on new tattoos. Some things on the job site may react with something in a specific color. More iron in the black ink etc. I used to work construction also, I had issues with roofing, insulation, and anything that has cement like grout and thinset.

I deliver for UPS, and I very well could have come in contact with like that. It has pretty much gone away now. Just typical raised lines, but once again only on the black ink.
