Default Looking for rare type of tattoo pigment

In the following picture,
http://www.bmeink.com/A60302/high/bmepb233606.jpg

Those light blues and fantasy purples are extremely bright and different from a lot of the blues/purples you normally see. What tattoo pigments do you think were used in creating this tattoo?

Starbrite, Intenze, Stable, Weatherman's Unique Ink (which I don't think so kuz I have some in me), Waverly, Skin Candy?

Does the starbrite country blue / powder blue and deep violet / deep purple look anything like that? I've seen some tattoos done with Starbrite and they still don't have that kind of intensity or hue. Of course I could be wrong. Please advise so I can try to narrow down my list of possible pigments for my artist to experiment with.

I too note ,you've asked the same question at Nick Baxter's.Let me ask you a question-if your artist is a real professional ,why doesn't he/she do the asking?

I posted a reply in Nick Baxter's forum. Just wanted to receive different kinds of responses.. no other intention than that.

II just like to have a slightly different perspective in tattooing.. I like to have really bright fantasy blues/purples in some of my tattoos and just wanted to see what else was out there. I'll back off now and just keep looking myself.

Thanks for your responses.

There's nothing special about those colors. Any artist worth going to will be able to tattoo you like that with just about any reputable brand.

Is it true though that different brands of tattoo pigment heal differently and with different consistencies.. so if an excellent artist tattooed two colors into ur skin with two different brands of tattoo pigment.. one might look slightly different than the other?

not enough different to notice. really.

ink brand is not the deciding factor for brightness. technical ability is.

The only time you may see a difference would be with two diversly different qualities.Good professional Tattoo artists don't use poor pigment. As artists we take on a duty to each other when it comes to good information,if anything out there is crap we're usually on the ball, and the word spreads very quickly.

On a side note, I have recommended Waverly for my artist to try out (jap pink, light blue, purple).. as well as Soba Stable (violet, lavendar) and Dynamic (for magentas/purples).

Is Waverly's japanese pink better than Skin Candy's Tokyo pink?
