So sad I went through that last year with my girl cakes, I watched her take her last breath- kissed her face all over then she passed away on my bed. Honestly if I could go back I wouldnt have made her go through that, all the signs where there but I kept thinking she could pull through. She went from strong beautiful dog to something isnt right to 14 days later being skin and bones. The vets couldnt tell me s&!t and 2 weeks after she passed the lab work came back they said it was cancer. She wasnt even 2 years old.

My boyfriend recently just sent me you page on Cain and now I am angry at him. For many many many years I have loved Pits, but it took moving to Racine, WI, and him going to a fish store, where the owners brought their Pits with every day for him to realize that they are not a "locked jaw, baby eating, dangerous breed" as he called them before. Then one day he came home with a black and white Pit girl which I always wanted, I named her Isabella after the Twilight series to get back at him because I wasn't quite ready for a 3RD DOG, but I couldn't let this pretty little girl go. Now she is a year and a half and the doctors are saying she more than likely needs surgery on her ACL and one day my mom asked if we could even afford it knowing that Bella is my baby. The answer was no doubt yes, because she is my baby. My brothers and I had a dog growing up and lost her so I know the realities but when it comes to my baby Bella, the realities don't matter, I will deny that she will die, she can't because she is MY BABY GIRL. I am sooooo sorry for you loss and sooo thankful for everything you do for this breed, someday when I am not in college and struggling to meet my part of the bills, I want to do what you and Tia do for this breed that is sooo loving and loyal and kind hearted. But I am still made at my boyfriend because he sent me this for some unknown reason, and Bella can NEVER die at least not until I do.

Thank you and please keep doing what you do. I love this breed soo much that sometimes my family thinks I am crazy for constantly educating them on the breed. And just like Cain, my baby never passes up a car ride nor a chance for a new adventure.
