Default Tattoo Shops are the new Hair Salons...

Every town will have some. It will be easy to get into the biz, few will make a ton of money, some will make a living, others will get in and get out.

Yea this could be good in a way.

More people can get great tattoos.

I remember not even ten years ago in this county there were 3 tattoo shops and the 4-5th were always listed in the yellow pages, but didn't actually exist.

that number has tripled.

Shops were popping up all over in the mid 90's. Just as fast as they came they went.

And... they're still going, going, gone... Economy has forced several marginal shops out here in SF this winter.

In a bad Economy,..only shops that do great work will come through.
