Grips??????
Is the Morphix Hombolt grip all what its cracked up to be? Looks pretty gnarly to me, have any of you used this product?, is this a product as comfortable as advertised?, would you recommend this grip for a busy street studio?

Re: Grips??????
I worked with an artist that used them & he said they didn't hold up in the autoclave very long. Not my own experience, but from someone that used them.

Re: Grips??????
honestly and I know Im gonna get flamed for this cuz..well I just know I will. I think the tatwax tips and stainless steel grips from cam are pretty much good enough man. Especially when they are frickin 4 bucks for the whole shot on sale! I use those and red rats and Im str8 up happy all the time no complaints. This is commin from someone who uses all one off or workhorse irons gear, fusion and eternal and stable ink, and good needles blah blah blah, Im a total gear whore. Soo if you have an abundance of money go get blitz or pulse or morphix but ss grips with red rats are just about as good as it gets man imo. kk now Ill duck and watch the support cam is bulls&!t flame come at me!

Re: Grips??????
And dont get me wrong, Im totally down for supporting companys that do good for tattooing. And if you got 7bills to throw down on grips at 30bucks a wap then by all means do it. But most people dont got it like that. I guess I just assume most is blue collar like me.

Re: Grips??????
i have been using the morphix for over a year now, and i love them. i dont line with them, but the birds nest at the bottom is the most comfortable thing i have found. i have had no issues, no cracking, no nada.

Re: Grips??????
Solomon -- I COMPLETELY AGREE!!! I don't use the tatwax label, I just get the plain old fashioned 11/16" grips and tips from CAM and they're as good as any-- but for 1/3 the price.
Have you tried those "wash through" tips? I haven't yet

I have not tried the wash through ones yet, Ive want to for sure. I would seriously give the tatwax tips a shot, they are very well made and comparable to tips much more exspensive. I am gonna give some national liner tips a try, the ones with the top of the diamond tip thats shaved off. I use murphys oils soap to scrub my tips and tubes and I swear that s&!t eats ink off my tubes like nano pirrahnas.
