Re: RCA CLIP CORD CONVERSION????
Totally do it. Less voltage problems while you work. I hate to turn a certain way and have my machine change (ups and downs) Those clip cords get stuff on the ends over time affecting the output, 1/4 in jacks don't.
It's just one less thing to think about when your tattooing,

Re: RCA CLIP CORD CONVERSION????
What if you use an Instek power supply? Can you still do the conversion?

Re: RCA CLIP CORD CONVERSION????
you can make them out of any connection you want as long as it fits in your powersupply.

Re: RCA CLIP CORD CONVERSION????
Switch, dont think about it just do it. The connection is cleaner more stable, my machines run sometimes a full volt lower and do far less oscillating then with a conventional clipcord. Its beyond me why everyone doesnt use them, besides the fact that there a touch ugly. But if you take the time to build your own mounts out of spring stock you can hide them fairly well, and Lucky sells all those really nice springs plated in nickel or copper or blued so you can accent your machine nicely.
