they look like the exact same flowers as the other ones on the previous page, only different colors, and they need another pass. should of put more thought into that cover up, just my 2cents

The lillys are not the same ones but have been drawn... Not traced drawn, from same reference, what would you have done different?... I have only been tattooing since october so any ideas welcome

The image is not complex enough to make the image disappear. If you had done a cluster of 5 or 6 it might have done the trick. In essence the image should practically disappear during the stencil process and clearly it did not. Also using translucent colors is not going to effectively seal the deal.

you rotated the flowers and put different colors in it, whether you traced it or not its the same thing.all i said is you should have put more thought into it before you did it, and if you have only been tattooing since october, you shouldnt even be doing cover ups. you cant just put another tattoo over an old one and think its going to cover it no problems. cover ups are more hiding than covering.

the best way to start a cover up is to utilize the lines from the old tattoo to create a new design. make the old become part of the new. doing this will distract the eye from trying to figure out what used to be there.
