When I said oil I wasn't referring to the compressor but to the tool itself......it has internal moving parts right? I'm not sure but guessing its either rotary or piston, if either of those is run consistent without some sort of lubrication they will wear out way faster. I've yet to see any type of air tool that doesn't recommend adding a few drops of oil daily.
Like I said I never used one but my first question before spending that kind of cash on the whole set-up would be whats the guaranteed machines life and whats the expected or average machine life.
