Best shop/tattoo artist in Huntsville, AL???

Hello everyone!

I was wondering if someone could give me a recommendation of an awesome shop in huntsville, alabama???

My son is currently stationed at Redstone Arsenal there and he is getting a tattoo today by someone I have never really heard of....LOL.

I want to tell my son what the best shop/shops/artist/artists might be in that general area. I know he won't listen as far as todays tattoo but if i could point him in the right direction i would feel better. He has a good solid body of work (mostly american traditional) on him and I am hoping he will continue on that path.

not too familiar with huntsville, but if he is willing to make the drive to birmingham, my old friend, and ex roomate...jason blanton does a really nice array of fine quality work. i regret not getting something when i had the opportunity.

although, if you google search "huntsville tattoos" or "huntsville tattoos myspace" i saw some decent and not decent artists as well.

i used to work with a girl named Jetta Smith who now works at the ink spot in huntsville. her work is pretty solid and the nicest girl ever. dont know about the rest of the shop....hur. here is her myspace.

He did find someone in Huntsville at Blue Rose Tattoo.
To be honest I can't remember the guys name but his myspace portfolio
scared the hell outta me when i first viewed it...LMAO!

What he got was pretty good!
I see some things in it that I am not wild about but it's not my tattoo it's
his and he is stoked. i am a little relieved too....ha ha ha!
It's a camera phone pic. Outside of his left forearm, wrist to elbow.
I really would like to see better pics especially of the lettering he had done
At least he knows not to give up that prime real estate on his right arm!!!

John Hall and Jetta Smith at The Ink Spot do good work. They are the best around North Alabama.
