Help wanted in referring an artist in the midwest
Hello all,
I hope this is posted to the right thread. I live in Dayton, Oh. For about 8 years now I have wanted a half sleeve and am now at the point where that is realistic. I am a little picky on style. Need an artist who is good with light color, shading, smooth lines, depth, etc. I have been getting on websites but to no avail. Can anyone recommend a few names in the Ohio/Indiana/Kentucky area?
Peace,
T

You can always come see me,........... I live in Troy and work in Middletown,
or,... go see Kyle Cotterman @ Smartbomb Tattoo in Dayton. Smartbomb use to be called New Breed.
There is also Rev. Chad Wells,... or you can just make the 1.5 hour trip to Columbus and hook up with Durb or anyone from High Street Tattoo. All are Dope ass artists.

Re: Help wanted in referring an artist in the midwest
Kyle Cotterman does excellent portrait work...haven't really seen a sleeve from him. There is also Kore Flatmo in Cincy, Plurabella is the shop name. He is amazing. I would recommend that you've waited this long, go to Hell City Tattoo Convention in Columbus in May 09. Check out the artists at this convention and go from there. And of course there is, AON...i mean theyu treat you like a queen. What other shop picks you up at the airport. They have to be the most customer friendly shop i've ever come a cross. You wanna feel good about everything, go with AON.
Conventions are good ways to see the extremely talented artists. I got work from Mike Devries and discovered Mike Cole which i got an appointment with this year at Hell City(can't wait).
Good luck, and please do not do anything to hasty, take it from me, you will regret it!!!

Re: Help wanted in referring an artist in the midwest
Hey.....welcome to the forum!!!
Durb, Kyle, or what Terry said about the conventions!!!
Hell City, the Columbus Convention, & Detriot is coming up too!
All great answers to your question!!!
But again what Waverly said is extremely important!!!
What style??
American traditional, Oriental, etc?
Portrait, full color, black & gray???
To really answer your question well, there needs to be a little more info.
Of course AON would be your best choice if you are willing to travel!
You have definitely come to the right place but we just need a little more info on what you are looking for to really help you find the perfect artist!
Good luck!!!
