machine casting

I'm looking for some more experienced help in realizing my new machines specifically with getting them cast at a good quality for a relatively decent price.

welding, brazing, grinding and carving are fun but time consuming and tedious. And i'm really looking to change the design of the existing coil machines, no fancy pneumatic machines or rotaries, simple traditional technology with high quality attractive parts and designs.

I've got the frames and all other associated parts all designed and i've designed a new tube vice system that should eliminate the current problems of tube pinching especially for disposables. I use disposables but hate the fact that if the vice isn't tight enough the tube can rotate.

I can lathe out all of the other parts but i don't want to have to machine and weld the frames. I'm looking for help getting them cast but they need to be high quality castings preferably in iron or bronze.

do you have any foundries in your area???? aFrom what I've been told, all you have to do is take them one frame you've made, and they can pump out as many as you want. there's also a place on the web theat puts out back yard casting supplies. here's the address.

do it yourself is not for me i live in a rental property and the owner already hates all the metal shavings and brazing equipment i have in the basement haha...

i was mainly looking if someone on the boards knows of another that casts frames or a supplier that has done frame castings.

preferably at a decent cost b/c these will be low # (ie. 20) runs until i can find a partner to help with the costs

ahhh understandable. best of luck to ya. If ya get em going throw up some flicks. I'd love to see some gnarly machines.
