Re: Best WHITE INK for big areas ??
Your job to tell them that much white would end up looking badly...
There is a section in the whole enchilada where it talks about
Making the client understand what they think is a good idea
May not translate to a good tattoo...
White mixed with other pigments can give a lighter affect
But lots of white in a tattoo is never going to hold up.
Best to mix it with another color.
Or reserve it for the highlights.
Maybe try to steer your client to something that will work better
Upon detailed explanation of why this mostly white tattoo is not a good idea.

Re: Best WHITE INK for big areas ??
sometimes that is the answer....
however there in lies your "people" Skills.
part of tattooing for a profession is selling yourself and your ability
and if you have confidence in your ability to create nice looking work,
you should try to sell it TO them Or in this case ON them...
take the time to explain why and more often then not you get the
" well do what you think works best
the client wants a awesome tattoo.. it is also part of your job to give them the awesome tattoo... and if you have to actually sell them on what is a good tattoo that is kinda the norm...
often I will tell someone stuff like this:
go bigger,
those colors are not going to make it Brighter like you want it, but these colors will work better and last longer if you take care of it,
the tattoo your talking about may flow better with this part of the body,,
ect...
the power of suggestion is a real thing...
sell your talent, just dont go overboard and surpass your ability..
hope this helps
