Default By refusing to do a tattoo - SHOP BURNED DOWN

SALINAS, Calif. — A California man is facing several years in prison after authorities say he threw a Molotov cocktail at a tattoo parlor after employees refused to draw on his chest an offensive image of President Barack Obama.

Monterey County prosecutors say Nathan Augustine of Pacific Grove pleaded no contest to arson Wednesday in connection with the July incident at Creative Visions tattoo parlor in Monterey.

Deputy District Attorney Douglas Matheson says the 36-year-old Augustine also pleaded no contest to a similar incident days later at a restaurant.

After being turned down by employees at the parlor for a tattoo of a swastika and an image of Obama overlaid with crosshairs, Matheson says Augustine later returned and threw the device.

Matheson says Augustine will be sentenced to seven years in prison for both attacks. Sentencing is scheduled for March 12.

Like I said in that new interview.

I will tattoo anything regardless.

Its not my job to enforce morality.

just to make it look awesome hahahaaa

same thing happened to me (well a fight not a maltov cocktail) because I refused to do a swastika.

I grew up after that hahahaaa

but I broke his jaw.

Brandon,

Was he obviously a neo-nazi type? Swastikas are also spiritual symbols.

I do Black Panther/KKK stuff all the time. I never take pictures of it to display in any portfolio or web content, but I give the customer what they want. Maybe the wrong/right person will see them wearing it and kick their ass.
The dumbass needs to be locked up for destroying someones property. How hard could it have been for him to simply find someone else to do the tattoo?

It's a personal take. I just don't do s&!t like that because it just doesn't fly with me anything hate related. My Fiance is Jewish so are a bunch of friends.

To Jlimon: Do you think the guy was looking for a spiritual Swastika? The man burned down a shop without remorse! That could have ended with a fatality as well.

7 years is a joke sentence. That goes to show you how much life is worth in this country.

I just came from singapore...s&!t are way different there, they would have cane his ass and then execute him for that. Now that's an efficient justice system IMO.

@FallenKing, I was asking about Brandon's guy, not the one in the link.

@Brandon, That's really discouraging to hear. I agree 100% with you and am glad that you tattoo 'anything' because I've considered getting some atheist based tattoos later and was worried that it'd cause issues with an artist who may have a strong belief in god. I guess the best you can do is hope for change and in the process make money on the ignorant ones.

The arsonist has 7 years to get all the hate tattoos he wants now that he's in prison. He can finally finish that full face tattoo with 20 some swastikas he's been wanting.
I think it's weird that they say Obama is a socialist/communist but the people that support that type of government wish him harm or just hate on him. Just back asswards to me.
