Some interesting theories here but I can tell you it's pretty tough to figure it exactly all the time. I use flat rate boxes a lot because it's easier to figure shipping but sometimes I just have to guess. I've done pretty well with it over the years but I'd be bummed if someone thought they were being gouged.

Never had a problem with any of my Cam orders, they're overpriced on certain things and some of their stuff is rebranded chinese junk, however I only support businesses that don't sell to the general public.

Also one thing to remember on these charges is shipping and "handling". Packing supplies, boxes, tape, etc, and time spent properly packing an order ads up. If it means I have to pay a little extra to get my order in one piece, not frozen, or what have you, I'm fine with that.

we (stranglehold merch) go way out of our way to try and keep shipping low, and its an ever changing constant source of headaches, Im sure its a lot easier to just say 17 bucks and not have to worry about loosing money but it is not right.
