All skin acts like a tint over a healed tattoo. The whiter the skin, the brighter the ink. When my darker clients ask why I won't do yellow on them, I tell them imagine the color yellow with a dark tint layed over it, that's what your yellow will look like!

i use the same description of skin as a tint. very accurate.
