Question for all the Tattoo Artists Spouses...
First of all....I appologize if I started this in the wrong spot, but I need help lol.
For over the past 15 yrs...I have been doing my husbands (tattoo artist) laundry.
How the heck can you get either fresh, or "set in" ink stains out of jeans. He does wear a disposable apron (which he hates) but for some reason, more ink just gets on his clothing AROUND the apron-covered area!
I have tried EVERYTHING from hairspray, rubbing alcohol, toothpaste, vinegar, and just plain good ole stain remover.... HELP lol...finally going crazy
Thanx n Hugs xoxoxo

Have you tried using lighter fluid? Not to burn them, but rub lighter fluid in them just before you throw them in the wash. It should break down the ink and allow it to wash out.

Where do you think it comes from? Lighter Fluid is made from Chuck Norris' sweat.

Try this stuff. I've heard it works great but never used it personally.
I rarely get pigments on me or my clothes. If it does what the description says, it should take out tattoo pigments as well. India ink is fairly concentrated stuff.

You may be able to find a supplier that is less expensive, I did a simple search. Good luck!
