Default Copyright question

This for those who have had work published in tattoo magazines. Even if the model has given permission should I at least have been credited? These are not pics of the model but close ups of my work. I know she owns the tattoo but does she owne the rights to my imagery? Should they have ask my permission or am I totally in the wrong?

i dont see why they would have to ask you for permission to give you credit, that doesnt even make sense, thats what this s&!t is all about. if the model didnt say you did the work, than shes a f@#king b1tc4, and i would shave her head, and give her mushroom stamps all over her face. thats ignorant.

Well the thing about it is the guy who put the mag together is a scumbag artist that I don't really wanna asociate myself with. The magazine is named after his shop and is filled with pics of his own tattoos, lol. The credit is not really my concern I'm not looking for fame just a little respect. To tell you the honest truth I don't like the guy he has no morals he's a terrible tattoo artist and does bad biz. So maybe it's better that they didn't credit me. Nah next time she comes in to get worked on imma hide a big d$!k in the tattoo.
