Default lines bumping up

I have a half sleeve done last February. I recently found a few spots where I can feel the lines in part of the tattoo "bump up". I can feel them. I have been Aquaphoring it like crazy, but it is still there. It is only in one spot and just popped up a few days ago, but I am wondering what that is and if I should be concerned.

I assume the color will stay in should I absent mindedly pick at it, but I am not sure.

Has anyone else experienced that kind of stuff?

Yes, I have. It's because too much lotion OR that type of lotion is clogging up your pores. Wash the area cleanly to remove all residue and stop the lotion for a few days and see if it clears up. If you have any questions just PM me.

this happens on my upper arms only every once in a while. the lines only will raise slightly. actually my upper right arm has a few raised right now. it cant be from lotion or anything clogging the pores cause i havnt used lotion since like september. but im not sure what causes this. by the way both of my sleeves were done by highly skilled artists.

Maybe I'm thinking of something else. I was talking about the hella tiny bumps that are like the size of a salt grain an they're hard.

I've got some that do it when it's real hot outside.

It's damaged tissue, my tattoos do it too. I've also noticed if it's really hot or cold outside they'll inflame and itch like mad. So do some of my bigger scars, they'll itch ang grow then settle down after a day or a couple of hours. Also yeah, my girlfriend slaps my arm cause she thinks that s&!ts pretty funny. No worries I've had one for like eight years now got it checked out while I was at the dr he just told me scar tissue does that sometimes. sweat pores and skin get damaged during a topical wound. No long term anuthing other than it's annoying

Bumping up is common like these guys say but rubbing or picking at it will make it worse. No need for any cream by now, just leave it alone and it will probably go away on its own. If it doesn't within a week, post some pics ?

No itching for me. And I cannot tell any relation to hot or cold. And you cannot see it, but feel it.
My other tattoo has been doing that from time to time for the last 12 years. I was just curious why that is happening.

I am not really worried, but this is the first time my new piece has done this.

I am glad other people have the same issue...
