Default Adding Color to a Black and Grey Piece

Was wanting to get some opinions on adding color to a piece that was orginally done in Black and Grey.

Do tattoo artist shy away from this? Is it something that can easily be done. What if you want a certain artist to do it that didn't do the orginal, do they have major problems with that? The more i look at the work from AON and think about coming to AON to get some work done the more i want to get color. The thing is i have like a quarter sleeve done in black and grey(koi, lotus, some background). I would love to get it colored in and then add maybe a phoenix and some other japanese work to complete an entire sleeve.

any comments would be great...thanks.

I am not an artist and dont even begin to answer for the pros but you came to the right place, Mr Tedder, Vennekamp, Herman, Reynolds, or any of crew should be able to give you the best answer available.

Ive wondered the same thing myself, but some of the work being considered had been shaded pretty heavy, I didnt think color would work from that point??
