Default Got curious and did something

Sup ya'll I was going over tuning my machine up with my mentor...well I was (actually still am) on watch right now and I took a machine I bought from Superior Tattoo Supply (The VRAD)..and please don't beat me up for buying from them..I bought it in a kit )apart while I was on watch.

My mentor is not really good at explaining things putting it into words (haha he says so his self)but he gave me the some info on how the space difference and sounds between a shader and a liner(Nickel and Dime)....Also the number of rubber bands around the needle...And gave me the a lesson on springs(checking the contact screw closing and narrowing the gaps) and...See he goes off of "sound and sight" to do alot of his tuning....He doesn't use a digital power supply either...When he coloring and shading in he adjust the power supply and watches the needle ....Im having a little time grasping it all...Is there any good websites I can read where I can learn more about "tuning"?

he helping me with the whole sight and feel thing ..but I like to be able to read up on things to.

P.S.
He's getting a digital power supply in the near future

Machine Gun Magazine...thanks Brandon....Man the sight and sound thing is cool ...like he says once you learn and get to know your style and how you like your machine to run...But sometimes I felt like I needed "The Force" haha

Im realling diggin doing my own research...im sponging big time right now!!
Oh and yeah I think a Pulse Machine is gonna be a definite purchse!

i'm going to have to buy some pulse machines also then becasue I really hate having to tune my machines like once a week. They all of a sudden go out of whack which really sucks. I run a micky sharpz and two time machines at the moment. And I have gotten all the machine gun mags and have tried everything and I get it just the way i want it and do a few tats and what do u know out of whack again. I'll def buy a few pulses when i get a chance
