Waverly's = Bill's black. Bill is Waverly...
True black... well that's a bit extreme, unless of course
it's Eternal. (Grin) If you triple true black is it a National
crisis? (Grin agin')
What we're after here is what a tattoo artist can achieve
with specific pigment/inks and... One heals to a lighter tone
than Dynamic or Waverly given the same method of application,
in the same skin, same machine... blah, blah, blah.
An Artist may still vary the shade/tone of any ink from full
saturation to minimal saturation. The contrast of that
fade/gradation will depend on a number of factors, not the
least of which is how dark the full strength ink heals in the
skin...
One is simply a different
tone of black. Lighter in value and
greyer in hue than either Waverly's or Dynamic's blacks.
A useful tool for proper application in my treasure chest...
for sure.
