^an interesting article; I presonally like it when people use reference but don't actually follow it per se but improve it by changing the focal point. Thought you guys might appreciate this link.

hell yeah Im all about that! a lot of times clients will requests specific reference to be tattooed as is - but freedom allows for growth and to be able to use an image but expand, change - hieghten - go crazy with - the mofo is where its at indeed.

i love refrences but hate when a client asks for a peice of flash or another artists work as is. I like having the freedom to make the peice my own
