Default water colors

I am using dr martins for my water colors and the black picks up. Haven't had an issue with any other color just black. I use fw liquid acrylic with them and curious would I benefit from using the acrylic black and stop using the doc martins black or what? Frustrated as s&!t and would like to get back on track asap

Well I was using the fw acrylic it doesn't pick up but it's a f@#king headache to get the spit shades I want for the effects I'm going for. Tried sumi-e ( kuro) and it was cool but also picked up, just a c-hair though. I hate watercolors for sure, Why won't someone just make me good?
