Question eikon green monsters

i was just curious if any body was using eikon green monsters, i use them with the true springs and actually love the crap out of them. i also use millenium ink, witch i will be changing to eternal in a bit. i know that pulse and n.g. and fki are some of the best machines on the planet, but i recently left a shop and lost EVERYTHING i had. and the monster was the best thing for the dollar. just curious.

i use one. i find it awfully fast. (mind you, i haven't been tattooing long at all...) so i f@#ked with it quite a lot.

i replaced the back spring with something less punchy and i changed the potentiometer. now it runs at my convenience.

first thing was painting it. neon green......seriously who wants to tattoo with a neon green machine ???!!!

i've never used one but eikon's an industry name so i'd trust them... then again almost any machine can run good with the right parts, i frequently work with 2 cheap ass ITS frames that i re-built from the ground up, the only thing i kept was literally the frame and they work great, granted they're being replaced soon by my own models once i find a partner to go into the castings with me.

Red face Re: eikon green monsters

its linear potentiometer...and thats on your power source, not your machine.

one of my apprentices has two green monsters, and doesn't use them. He likes the solution and an FTW brass machine....ya and green makes me want to eat soup!
