Default Critiques Please

Hi guys! First off, love this forum! I find myself on everyday. I can't get enough. Props to Brandon and the crew @ AON, amazing work guys. I haven't been in the industry long, but I'm busting b@llz to get my work out. I don't get the chance to do my own thing very often because I'm working in a nowhere town, but here are some tattoos I've done from flash. Be honest please. I need some tips if possible... Thanks in advance...

like tom said more depth... i offer big discounts to people so i can do pieces that i really want to do, more so for portfolio pieces than anything else but it lets me rock some new techniques here and there

Yeah, I try to offer discounts for a kickass design, but I guess genetics is more compeling, ie " i wawnt dat thar barb wire own my arm". and I can see what tou mean about the depth. Im just a little skiddish @ times about putting too much..

someone once told me put enough black in it to make it look finished, and "just when you think you've added too much black, add some more black"

haha! For the first few years I was terrified of too much black. Now I've understood how its really the foundation on those color pieces.

how long have you been tattooing? Looks good!!!

About 2 years now including my uber crappy apprenticship. I thought it was a good apprenticeship, but the guy went out of business, told me I was ready, then he wanted me to open a shop so he could work there, lol. I moved back here and found an old friend who set me up in the shop I'm @ now. Most of our work is coverups and fixes from the shops all around us. at least i get to be a little creative w/ coverups and such in fact 2 of the pics I posted are coverups.
