Dude, I would kill to get in at AON. Literally. I would murder. Real murder. I mean I value education and all...but you can learn a whole lot more outside that classroom!

Agreed, im putting my portfolio together right now. is it alright if its digital? (aka http://www.deviantart.com/). Just seems most practical with the distance at the moment.

Ill drop a line tomorrow at the shop, for details as well.

I have a few questions regarding apprenticeships in general, not just at AON:

As far as the financial aspect- do you have to pay for all apprenticeships? I kind of thought it was something you worked off (cleaning toilets, general embarrassment/shenanigans type stuff) and lots of hard work, cleaning tubes, drawing, listening and observing.

If you have to pay is it a lump sum or what? Or do you make like min. wage during your apprenticeship? I'm definitely willing to go to any lengths to reach the goals I want but I also just kind of want to know what to expect along the way. Any experience or advice would be greatly appreciated.
