Gage was a 7 yrs old pit bull that was a perfect gentleman but the breed is irrelevant! He was shot once point blank in the neck by someone the family trusted and was on friendly terms with the dog. This could happen to anyone owning a breed that uneducated people believe to be dangerous. The family needs support from people that understand a dog is more that an animal but a cherished member of the family.
