To be honest you should not be mad at the goverment. They're just trying to protect their citizens. The people who you should really be upset with are the irresponsible handlers of those dogs. They're the ones that give those breeds a bad name. It's especially unfortunate that they've included a handful of breeds that are protective and not "vicious". I'm curious why they didn't include small breed dogs which have a significantly higher rate of biting people than the breeds listed.
