I talked to Daron about it, he's awesome, super nice guy. If you want it go for it, don't let age hold you back, Daron told me that they've had shop owners come in and do the apprenticeship just to get the knowledge of the AON crew under their belt.
Only s&!t of it is I probably won't be able to b/c of finances and my own legal problems.
