Default Re: In-depth article on Atlanta's abandoned pet crisis

This headline is beginning to haunt the pages of hundreds of local newspapers nationwide, and is reaching pandemic status. I don't know how many more articles need to be published to prove to society that animal overpopulation/abandonment is a problem, but until the ignorant masses are educated and recognize the issue, they will only perpetuate the cycle. People gripe and complain about in my area that shelters and rescues are not accepting anymore animals, but if they would do one, tiny, simple thing, this could be avoided. Just spay/neuter. Or better yet, why don't we spay/neuter the human population so that there will actually be enough room in the world for everyone, then we could avoid overpopulation of an invasive species that destroys to maintain absolute power and control.
