If your tattooing with a clip cord you could be experiencing electrical magnetic Disturbances being picked up by your power supply.Some people use RCA converters on they're machines to eliminate this...

It depends on the size of the piece you are working on and if the machine is real. Real sharps work steady and warm through the night if they are the real deal. Set up is key as well.warm machines...
