Mugsy, boxer/american bulldog/pit mix, needs a loving home!!!!! http://i8.tinypic.com/4muilag.jpg MUGSY'S STORY! We need to find foster care or a permanent home for a 5 year old, white boxer/bulldog/pit mix that has been living near our feral cat colony for a few days. It's a little complicated, but basically his "mother" died and her daughter brought him to the Humane Society (which is right across the street from us on Howell Mill Road). They were full, so she asked if they would euthanize him for her. They didn't, thank goodness, but one of their volunteers (named Doug) had to get him out of there and he is now in the front yard of an abandoned house. Doug is feeding him but we knew that he needed vet care immediately and couldn't bear to see him sitting out there alone any longer. So, we took him to our vet today. He is 64 lbs of muscle and energy! He probably didn't get much attention in his former life and was left out in the yard to fend for himself. He just needs a loving, attentive home and some training. Due to his lack of care, he is unneutered and heartworm positive. BUT, our amazingly kind and wonderful vet at the Buckhead Animal Clinic is willing to vaccinate, neuter AND proceed with heartworm treatment free of charge!!! This is tremendously generous and speaks volumes about how much Mugsy deserves a second chance at a truly good life!!! We live in a 3rd floor apartment with lots of cats, so we just can't keep him with us. |

On my way out the door right now to pick this beautiful pup up....the owner has had her since she was 4 months old (shes 2 years now) but is going to get evicted if she doesn't get rid of the dog. When I got the bulletin I just couldn't let her go to the pound and we've been talking about getting another dog for a few months so off we go!

we are off to pick up the skinny chocolate dog - today is a horribly busy day for my wife and for me and the shop, but we have to do what we gotta do. as termination is tomorow for her. we still need to find the best possible home... this is the second aspect of this proces - placement - its complicated but I will walk us through this. we are also getting official state agriculture liscencing for "All Or Nothing Pit Bull Rescues" today as well thank you for your help lets find a dope ass home for her. |

it is the works fo sure! it means alot to brandon, as well as, nikiy(rockstar) and i and have been pushing towards that goal as hard as possible! our two rescues are treated the same as our kids. except they don't eat at the table
